No more Blue Screen of Death…

Rejoice. Microsoft is making sure we’ll never again see the much hated Blue Screen of Death on its next version of Windows: Longhorn. Instead we’ll be presented with a red version of it. More here.

Now, where is that Linux distro…?

Oops… the blog system thought it was clever enough to figure out what was a URL :) . I guess I’ll have to help it along. Here’s the link again: http://fedora.redhat.com/ Also: howcome the link doesn’t show up as a link in the preview, but it shows up as a link in the final version? May I suggest the nice (and open source) blog system http://www.rollerweblogger.org/ ?

    Hurrah! Linux it is!

Put your Operating System where your mouth is and install Linux straight away. Fedora is a good, open Linux distro.

Thanks Bjorn, I am with you on this.
As Emir’s dedicated flatmate (and potential helpdesk I am afraid) I think it’s a good choice. Not that I am a linux expert (I had a go with slackware years ago, but still use xp for convenience), but if I had to install it for me now, I would wait for Fedora core 4…

Born naked, wet, and unable to provide for himself, Emir is documenting his struggle to overcome these shortcomings.
